The usePAT-team around the managing directors Dr. Stefan Radel & Georg Heinz consists of experts in various fields. The technology combines various areas of science like ultrasonic & technology development, mechanical engineering, chemical analytics, electronics and process engeneering. Furthermore usePAT co-operates with experts in the field of Raman-spectroscopy, process technology, software, microcontroller and industrialisation.

The team has won several awards - including the Mercur Startup Star 2018, the INiTS Demo Day and a special prize at the S&B award of the Rudolf-Salinger Fonds.

Based in Vienna, usePAT has very strong bonds to the Technical University of Vienna (TU Wien).

The main scientific research has been done in close cooperation with the alma mater of a lot of usePAT team members.
